These terms apply to purchases from our online store. Please read them alongside our Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy, available on our website.

Our products

All our candles and wax melts are handmade in small batches. We aim to make each item as close to the photographs as possible, but colours, decoration and placement may vary slightly. Screen settings can also affect how colours appear.

These variations do not affect your rights to receive goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

Please read each product’s description, dimensions, contents and care instructions before ordering.

Product imagery and AI assistance

AI tools have helped us create parts of this website and style some product images. These images are based on our real products and original photographs, with backgrounds, lighting or presentation enhanced or recreated.

Styled images are intended to represent the products offered. Slight variations in colour, surface texture and decorative details may occur because our candles and wax melts are handmade in small batches. Product sizes, quantities and other stated specifications remain as described.

Props and accessories are not included unless expressly stated in the product description.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights where goods are faulty or do not match their description.

Orders and payment

Please check your items, delivery address and contact details before completing checkout. You must be authorised to use your chosen payment method.

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. Our initial order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order. We accept your order when we send your dispatch confirmation.

If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and refund any payment taken for the items we cannot supply. We will not substitute an item without your agreement.

If you need to change or cancel an order, email us as soon as possible. This does not affect your statutory cancellation rights.

Prices

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes. Delivery charges and the total payable are displayed before you complete your order.

Prices and promotions may change for future purchases. Changes will not alter the agreed price of an accepted order.

If we discover a pricing or product information error affecting your order, we will contact you to explain it and agree how to proceed. We will not charge an increased price without your consent.

Shipping and delivery

We currently ship to the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Please allow 7–10 days for dispatch, although we often dispatch earlier. Our regular dispatch days are Wednesday and Saturday. Dispatch time is separate from the carrier’s delivery time.

Orders may take longer during November and December. Any extended dispatch estimate will be shown before ordering, and we will contact you if an unexpected delay affects your order.

For delivery arranged by us, your goods remain our responsibility until you, or someone you nominate, receives them. Contact us if your parcel is missing or arrives damaged.

Returns and personalised items

Our Return and Refund Policy explains how to cancel an eligible online order, return items and receive a refund.

Items made to your specifications or clearly personalised are excluded from change-of-mind returns. This does not affect your rights if they are faulty, damaged or not as described.

Product safety

Follow the safety labels and care instructions supplied with each product. Never leave a burning candle or wax burner unattended. Keep products away from children, pets and flammable materials.

Remove decorative botanicals and other non-wax decorations before lighting a candle, as instructed. Candles and wax melts are not food and must not be eaten.

These instructions do not limit our legal responsibility for product safety.

Candle-making experiences

Workshop dates, venues, prices, suitability requirements and cancellation terms will be provided before booking.

For bookings through ClassBento or another booking platform, please also read the terms presented during that booking process. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Website use and content

Please use our website lawfully. You must not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software, commit fraud or interfere with other users.

Website text, branding, photographs and other content belong to us or their respective rights holders. You may browse and use the website for personal shopping. Commercial reuse requires permission unless otherwise permitted by law.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or security risks. This will not remove your rights relating to an existing purchase.

Shopify and external websites

Shopify hosts our online store and provides the technology used to offer our services. Purchases from this store are made directly with KiKi’s House Candles & Wax Melts.

Our website may link to external websites or booking platforms. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use those services.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected and used when you visit our website or place an order.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these terms removes or restricts your statutory consumer rights.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, this does not remove any mandatory consumer protections or rights to bring proceedings in your local courts that apply to you.

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version in force when you place your order will apply to that order.
